Winter Recess – University Closed
December 22, 2023 - January 1, 2024
Purdue University Northwest will be closed from Friday, December 22 to Monday, January 1 for winter recess. Campus offices will reopen Tuesday, January 2, and classes will resume Monday, January 8.

Information Services Customer Service Center
The Customer Service Center will be closed from December 22 through January 1.
Fitness Centers
Visit the Fitness Center web pages to explore updated winter recess hours for the Hammond and Westville fitness centers. Normal hours will resume when the Spring Semester begins on January 9.
Library
The library is closed from noon on December 22 through January 1.
Dining
Holiday hours TBA.
Bookstore
The Bookstore will be closed from December 22 through January 1.

Gabis Arboretum
Gabis Arboretum will be closed from Friday, December 22 through Monday, January 2.
Office of Financial Aid
The Office of Financial Aid will be closed during winter recess and reopen on January 2. Students will continue to see messages in Student Self-Service and view emails through their PNW account.
Bursar
Bursar will be closed during winter recess. Students may still make payments online or utilize the drop box on campus.
Registrar
The Registrar will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from December 18 to December 23. The Registrar will be closed from December 22 until January 2.
Housing
The Housing Office will be closed from December 22 until January 1.
However, resident assistants and desk staff are still available to assist you. If you need assistance during the break, please visit or call the front desk of your building.
