Summer Student Spotlight: Viviana Plaza
Viviana Plaza of Portage, IN is looking forward to starting her senior year at PNW. She chose to study political science because she enjoys learning about the history of the U.S. government and how the country can improve in the future.
One of the aspects of PNW that Plaza values most is the relationships with her professors. “Because of the class sizes, I am on a first-name basis with all of my professors,” she said. “I’ve worked with them so much that I feel comfortable talking to them. Because they’ve been where I’m currently at, they give me actual advice and offer to help outside office hours if I need it.”
“They’re always asking about my future plans and how they can help me reach my goals,” Jenkins continues. “They’re honest and extremely insightful, and I couldn’t ask for a better group of professors.”
