Transcripts

Purdue University’s transcript services have transitioned to Parchment, a trusted leader in academic credentials management.

Purdue University is currently waiving Parchment’s transcript request fees. Beginning fall 2025 these fees will no longer be waived.

As of March 14, 2025, in-person transcript requests are no longer available.  All official transcript requests will utilize the Parchment online system.

Request Transcripts ONLINE

Transcripts may be ordered online through Parchment.  On the Purdue University transcript web page, click on the link for Purdue’s Parchment Storefront.

If you have not used Parchment before, you will need to create an account.

Helpful Tips

  • Google Chrome or Firefox are the recommended browsers.
  • If you encounter the error “Unable to validate address”, click on the suggestion provided below this warning to continue setting up your account.
  • When entering your PUID, leave off the first “0” in your ID number.  The PUID should be 9 digits.
  • After you set up your account, you may log in at any time using the credentials you created to order transcripts.

If you already have an account with Parchment and access the system without going through Purdue’s Parchment Storefront, but have not ordered Purdue transcripts before, you will need to add Purdue University to your existing account during the ordering process.  NOTE:  If you are using Purdue’s Parchment Storefront, you will not need to do this step.

Once you have ordered a transcript, you (if you indicated that it should be sent to you) or your recipient (if you are sending to a third party) will receive an email with a link to access the transcript. You have 30 days to access the transcript using the link in the email you received.

If you need assistance with setting up your account or transcript ordering, consider the following resources from Parchment:

Apostille is a French word which means a certification. It is commonly used as the legalization of a document for international use under the terms of the 1961 Hague Convention.

The PNW Registrar currently makes the following general documents available for the apostille process: transcripts, enrollment/degree certifications and requests for a duplicate or replacement diploma.  If you require additional services, such as a replacement diploma, please note the details on your apostille when ordering your transcript. Our office will send certification documents to the Secretary of State in Indianapolis, Indiana, who will then forward the documents to you or to your recipient whichever you have selected.

Requestors should provide the following:

Please note: PNW staff cannot advise requestors on the international apostille process. It is the requestors’ responsibility to follow the procedures outlined by the Secretary of State Office of Authentications.

Given the additional complexity of notarization, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for the completed certification.
