Transcripts

Purdue University’s transcript services are transitioning to Parchment, a trusted leader in academic credentials management.

Purdue University is currently waiving Parchment’s transcript request fees. Beginning fall 2025 these fees will no longer be waived.

Request Transcripts ONLINE

Transcripts may be ordered online through Parchment.  On the Purdue University transcript web page, click on the link for Purdue’s Parchment Storefront.

If you have not used Parchment before, you will need to create an account.

Helpful Tips

  • Google Chrome or Firefox are the recommended browsers.
  • If you encounter the error “Unable to validate address”, click on the suggestion provided below this warning to continue setting up your account.
  • When entering your PUID, leave off the first “0” in your ID number.  The PUID should be 9 digits.
  • After you set up your account, you may log in at any time using the credentials you created to order transcripts.

If you already have an account with Parchment and access the system without going through Purdue’s Parchment Storefront, but have not ordered Purdue transcripts before, you will need to add Purdue University to your existing account during the ordering process.  NOTE:  If you are using Purdue’s Parchment Storefront, you will not need to do this step.

Once you have ordered a transcript, you (if you indicated that it should be sent to you) or your recipient (if you are sending to a third party) will receive an email with a link to access the transcript. You have 30 days to access the transcript using the link in the email you received.

If you need assistance with setting up your account or transcript ordering, consider the following resources from Parchment:

Viewing Your Transcript Order Status (For Requests Made through Parchment)

Log back into Parchment and click on the Orders tab and then click on the arrow in the Track column to see the details and delivery status of your request.

Previous Transcript Order Statuses (For Requests Made Prior to Parchment)

For questions regarding your order history, email transcripts@purdue.edu or contact the Office of the Registrar of your home campus.

For a limited time (until March 15, 2025) students may request either official (sealed) or unofficial (unsealed) transcripts in person at the PNW Office of the Registrar at either the Hammond campus – Lawshe Hall Room 130 or Westville campus – Schwarz Hall Room 120, regardless of which location they attended.  After this time, all transcript requests will be processed online through Parchment.

Transcripts can be emailed, mailed or picked up in person (a valid picture ID is required). Transcripts cannot be released in person to a third party unless the student provides written authorization in advance.

Same-day service is available, but requests cannot be processed if requested 15 minutes before closing time. In this instance and for faxed requests received after that time, transcripts will be available after 10 a.m. the next business day.

Registrar’s Office hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Students can access and print their unofficial transcripts through myPNW. This document should be used for reference purposes only.

How do you do it?

  1. Log into myPNW and click the Academics button.
  2. Click on “View Unofficial Transcript”.
  3. On the Display Transcript page, print transcripts by right clicking and selecting Print. You can also select File and Print from the menu.
