PNW’s annual GenCyber Camp immerses youth in hands-on lab activities and games to strengthen cybersecurity awareness and practices.

The spirit of Powering Onward continues during the summer months at Purdue University Northwest (PNW) with a sizable lineup of summer camp sessions and activities.

Throughout June and July 2022, camps and activities will span STEM, athletics, leadership, and outdoor adventure themes tailored to people of various age groups.

Youth have the chance to dive into favorite activities or learn more about their budding interests, including but not limited to:

  • STEM camps offering hands-on experience working in areas such as cybersecurity, engineering, environmental science, forensic science and robotics.
  • Sports camps offering training and practice to athletes in baseball, esports, ice hockey, soccer, softball, and volleyball.
  • Leadership and confidence-building by the Society of Innovators and Leadership Institute at PNW’s Summer Youth Innovation Experience.
  • Creativity and immersive sensory experiences at Gabis Arboretum at PNW through the TimberNook Camp.

Parents or guardians are encouraged to visit pnw.edu/camps to see a schedule of events and registration deadlines and fees.

All sessions occur at PNW facilities, including the Hammond campus (2200 169th Street, Hammond, IN), the Westville campus (1401 S U.S. 421, Westville, IN) or Gabis Arboretum (450 W 100 N, Valparaiso, IN). Particular building location information is available online or will be provided following registration.
