R: Drive Retirement: Timeline Reminder

We wanted to remind you about an important upcoming change to the R:\ drive.

Starting Saturday, March 22, the R:\ drive (departmental storage) will be set to read-only. This means that you will no longer be able to add or modify any files on this drive but can still access the files stored there.

It is imperative that you take the necessary steps to classify your data and migrate it to the appropriate cloud storage platform. If your department does not yet have a cloud storage plan and would like help creating one, please email the CSC. This proactive approach will ensure that your important files and documents are securely stored and easily accessible.

Please continue this data classification and migration process to avoid any disruptions. If you have any questions or need assistance, do not hesitate to reach out to the CSC for support. (The R drive will be completely discontinued this summer.)
