Purdue University Northwest recognized in U.S. News & World Report Best College Rankings
Purdue University Northwest (PNW) has been recognized among the best regional universities in the U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings, released today.
PNW ranks 35th nationally among the Best Engineering Programs, of engineering schools whose highest degree is a bachelor’s or master’s degree. Purdue Northwest’s undergraduate business program has also been rated as one of the top programs among those accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

demic programs further validates the quality of our faculty members, facilities and the education our students receive,” PNW Chancellor Thomas L. Keon said. “PNW is proud to be recognized among such significant higher education peers.”
Best Engineering Programs
U.S. News ranks undergraduate engineering programs accredited by ABET, a non-profit, non-governmental organization that accredits college and university programs. The rankings are based on surveys of engineering deans and senior faculty at accredited programs. PNW, ranked No. 35 in the country, received a 3.0 peer assessment score on a 5-point scale, sharing the position with nine other programs.

Best Regional Universities
Purdue Northwest is included in the ranking among Midwest regional universities and received a 2.8 peer assessment score on a 5-point scale, which is the second highest score of Midwest regional universities ranked between 128 and 165.
PNW had the second highest percentage of first year students attending who were in the top 25 percent of their high school class, a designation that also tied PNW for first among Indiana public universities in the Midwest rankings.
