Purdue University Northwest Police and Hammond Police offer free self-defense training for women
PNW welcomes another lesson of how to "Fight Like A Girl", a self-defense class meant for women. We will be hosting Hammond and Schererville officers as instructors.

The Schneider Avenue Building will be closed from 3 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10 for an evaluation of the Gunshot Detection System.

Nils K. Nelson Bioscience Innovation Building closed on Saturday July 22, 2023 at 2:00PM
We want to inform you about an upcoming evaluation of the Purdue Gunshot Detection System at the Nils Nelson building. To ensure the safety of everyone present, we need to temporarily close the Nils Nelson building during the test period. Therefore, we kindly request all faculty, students, and staff vacate the building from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM CST on July 22, 2023.

PNW Community Emergency Response Team Training
PNW Public Safety and Lake County Homeland Security will be hosting a free, three-day Community Emergency Response Team (CERTS) training course. The CERT program allows participants the opportunity to learn hands-on disaster response techniques and lifesaving skills to utilize in your own homes and neighborhoods.

Annual Reminder Parking Fees and Parking Policies Fall 2022 Spring 2023
All PNW benefit-eligible employees who utilize parking facilities are requested to complete a Parking Permit Application Form. Parking fees are assessed from August to May each year.
