Dear PNW Community:
Thank you for your participation in the open forum today for the first of three finalists in the search process for the next Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of Purdue University Northwest.
I am pleased to invite you to open forum sessions with two finalists next week in Alumni Hall in the Student Union and Library Building on the Hammond campus, with a Zoom option to view the presentations live.
The topic for each candidate’s presentation is: “PNW Moving Forward as a Metropolitan University: Challenges and Opportunities in Higher Education.”
The forum sessions are scheduled as follows:
Claudia A. Petrescu, Ph.D.
Vice Provost for Graduate Education and Dean of the Graduate School
Kansas State University
Open Forum on Monday, April 8, 10 a.m.-11:15 a.m.
Alumni Hall, SUL Room 360, Hammond Campus
Feedback surveys will close at 6 p.m. CT on Sunday, April 14.
Marie Mora, Ph.D.

Metropolitan State University of Denver
Open Forum on Wednesday, April 10, 10 a.m.-11:15 a.m.
Alumni Hall, SUL Room 360, Hammond Campus
Feedback surveys will close at 6 p.m. CT on Sunday, April 14.
The forums are open to all members of the university community. There will be a Q&A session included for those attending in person in Alumni Hall. Please note that no questions or comments will be facilitated in the Zoom option. Each candidate’s session will be recorded, and recordings will be posted to the PNW website after all finalists have had a chance to present to the university community.
As previously shared, the Provost Search Advisory Committee met with multiple candidates and has made recommendations to me for those to move forward in the process. Each finalist will participate in an open forum. The candidates also will be meeting with representative groups of faculty, staff, and administrators on both PNW campuses.
Your participation and feedback in this process are important and very much appreciated.
Sincerely,
Kenneth C. Holford
Chancellor
