CHESS Names Outstanding Graduate in the School of Education and Counseling
Brianna Buckner, a 2020 PNW graduate with a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a reading concentration, will begin teaching kindergarten this fall at Liberty Elementary School in Chesterton.

Purdue University Northwest faculty members promoted
Eleven Purdue University Northwest faculty members will begin the upcoming academic year with promotions, as approved recently by the Purdue University Board of Trustees. The promotions are effective Aug. 17.

Dr. Zinaich teaches a variety of philosophy courses at Purdue Northwest, ranging from Introduction to Philosophy, to Ethics for Professions, to Principles of Logic, while also having taught Ancient Greek Philosophy. He sees himself as a “history of philosophy kinda guy” after having really taken to the historical aspects of philosophy.
