Several Purdue University Northwest (PNW) students and student organizations were celebrated for their on-campus leadership, service to the campus community and accomplishments during the 2024-25 academic year at PNW’s third annual Chancellor’s Ball.

Members with PNW’s Fine Arts Club celebrate their Student Organization of the Year award.

A selection committee comprised of members from the offices of Admissions, Dean of Students, Educational Opportunity Programs, Public Safety, Student Life and Unity Hub reviewed peer nominations for standout undergraduate and graduate students and their student organizations.

Honorees were recognized in eight different categories:

  • Outstanding New Program Award: Student Life Activities Board (Trick or Treat)
  • Program of the Year Award: Indian Student Association at Purdue Northwest (Diwali)
  • Community Impact Award: Students Helping Ignite Needed Esteem (SHINE) and Actively Moving Forward (AMF)
  • “Comeback Kid” Award: Marketing Club
  • “I’m Powering Onward” Award: Kaitlyn Vasilko
  • Student Organization Advisor of the Year: Eric Mlynarczyk
  • Student Organization Leader of the Year: Ariana Salazar
  • Student Organization of the Year: Fine Arts Club
