PNW Chancellor Search: Availability of listening sessions and survey
Dear PNW Community:
As we prepare to launch the public search for the next Chancellor of Purdue University Northwest, Purdue President Mung Chiang and the Board of Trustees welcome and encourage input from the entire PNW community. The first step is to gather insights as the Search Advisory Committee and the search firm craft a position profile and advertisement that will attract highly qualified candidates.
Please read the invitation below from AGB Search, the firm facilitating this important process. You will find several opportunities to join in a listening session and to complete a survey. We thank you in advance for your participation.

AGB Search Invitation
Greetings! We’re writing today to bring you up to date on the upcoming search for Chancellor of Purdue University Northwest. The search committee now has met twice and are well on their way to launching the search on or about September 1, 2023. Throughout this process, we are honored to work alongside your search committee chair, Purdue Trustee Malcolm DeKryger, and Dr. Lisa J. Goodnight, PNW Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement.
At this point, we want to offer you an opportunity to become an important part of this process as the search committee has scheduled Listening Sessions for faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members virtually via Microsoft Teams on August 17, 2023. During those sessions, we hope to seek your input on the following question areas:
- What do you view as strategic opportunities and challenges for PNW?
- Are there particular attributes that will be important for this position?
- What might be some other things that we should consider in recruiting candidates for this post?
The sessions are listed below, with links. Please join the session that works best for you. All sessions will be held on Thursday, Aug. 17 and all times listed are CST.
