PNW Campus Community Setting the Path for the Next Five Years

Dear Colleagues,

Thanks to the outpouring of ideas, discussion and collaboration from all areas of the Purdue University Northwest (PNW) community, we are well on our way to establishing a new strategic plan during the spring semester.

Your valuable contributions have offered the Strategic Planning Steering Committee a wealth of feedback to support the development of our 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, “Excellence Evolving.”

PNW’s next Strategic Plan now has a finalized and approved Mission and Vision, which were announced Nov. 8. PNW students, faculty and staff have voiced that you value our commitment to never losing sight of what best serves our students and ensuring that all feel welcome when they join our campus community. Furthermore, you have shown that you view the university as a transformational learning space that readies qualified young leaders, produces impactful research and inspires excellence for our world, both near and far.

The steering committee is now facilitating further important discussions with teams comprised of PNW campus community members focusing on the development of our values, as well as the objectives and measurable outcomes to achieve our overarching strategic goals.

I encourage you to watch for future updates from the steering committee for additional opportunities to contribute. You can also visit pnw.edu/strategic-plan for more information. The steering committee and PNW senior leadership are committed to transparency during this process and value your participation.
