PNW alumni are positively changing our world

Dear Colleagues,
We are incredibly proud of the many Purdue University Northwest (PNW) alumni who become leaders in their fields and in their communities. Their professional accolades, as well as the time and devotion they contribute to their alma mater, exemplify grit, determination and a focus on making impactful change.
Since 2022, we have recognized several of our exceptional university alumni and their extraordinary successes through the PNW Alumni Hall of Fame. Our inductees serve as aspirational figures for our students, and their stories reflect all that is possible with a PNW degree.
This year, we are proud to induct alumni Nicole Kupchik (AAS’93) and Mitchell “Mason” Macenski (BA’86) to the Hall of Fame. Like our previous inductees, Nicole and Mason were foundationally influenced by their PNW undergraduate experiences. Their inspirational stories share similarities with many of our current students who are the first in their family to earn a college degree while honoring other commitments outside of their academics.

I am often told by alumni how the relationships they built with PNW faculty and staff members during their time on campus made a lasting impression that influenced their success. The mentorship we provide to our students gives them meaningful affirmation and encouragement as they step into their careers.
Our alumni are making great strides in service to our world. Your dedication while they are with us as students, and continuing those relationships after graduation, helps propel them to resiliently Power Onward. I look forward to joining our campus community, esteemed alumni and friends of PNW on April 3 for our annual induction ceremony.
Sincerely,
Kenneth C. Holford, Ph.D.
