Shuhui Grace Yang
Shuhui Grace Yang is a professor and department chair of Computer Science. Her areas of expertise are computer networking, wireless communication and distributed system.

Biography
Shuhui Yang has been a professor in the Department of Computer Science at Purdue University Northwest since 2009.
Previously, she worked in the Department of Computer Science at Rensselear Polytechnic Institute as a postdoc research associate from 2007 to 2009. Her host advisor is Dr. Wei Zhao.
She received her Ph.D. degree from Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Florida Atlantic University in August 2007. She obtained her M.S. degree from Department of Computer Science and Technology, Nanjing University, Nanjing, China in 2003 and B.S. degree from Jiangsu University, Zhengjiang, China in 2000, in Computer Science. Her Ph.D. dissertation advisors were Dr. Jie Wu (currently with Temple University) and Dr. Mihaela Cardei.
Her research interests include wireless networks and mobile computing, parallel and distributed systems, and wireless security and privacy. She is also associated with PNW’s Center for Cybersecurity.
