Sham Tickoo

Introduction

Sham Tickoo is a professor of mechanical engineering technology at Purdue University Northwest. His research interests are in the area of design and fabrication of wind turbines.

Research Overview

Tickoo has developed a software package “SMLayout” for sheet metal. In 2003, Tickoo was awarded a US patent for one of his inventions “Self Adjusting Cargo Organizer for Vehicles.”

Credentials, Accreditations & Awards

Before joining PNW in 1987, Tickoo worked as a design engineer, quality control engineer and software developer. He has authored or co-authored textbooks on several major CAD/CAE/animation softwares.
