Introduction
Paul is currently in his third year at Midwestern University, where he is working towards his doctorate in clinical psychology and received his M.A. in clinical psychology in July 2021. Paul attended Loyola University Chicago for his undergraduate degree, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Sport Management. Throughout his undergraduate and graduate career, Paul has worked and interned at a variety of settings, including private practices, nursing home/rehabilitation centers, and after-school programs. He has also conducted his own research regarding the influence of socioeconomic status on perceptions of individuals with Hoarding Disorder.
Paul is interested in and has experience working with mood and anxiety difficulties, relationship dynamics/conflict, and psychological well-being of student-athletes. Paul approaches therapy and conceptualization primarily through a Cognitive-Behavioral perspective, although he incorporates aspects of several different approaches to meet the unique needs of his clients. Paul is very excited to gain experience in college counseling and to assist students in overcoming challenges, reaching their goals, and finding meaning in their lives.
