Introduction

Omar is currently in his third year at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology where he is working on his doctorate in clinical psychology. Omar is from Hammond, Indiana and completed his B.S in Interdisciplinary Sciences- Physics and M.S. in Human Services Counseling PNW. Omar has experience working with college students, especially first-generation, as he previously served students as a student affairs professional.

Omar works from a Systems Integrated perspective, understanding that there are many facets influencing a person’s development and mental health. Omar is excited to gain experience in college counseling and aid individuals in navigating this stressful and exciting time of life.
