Introduction
Lamese is currently in the Clinical Psychology Psy.D program at Midwestern University and received her M.S. in Clinical Psychology in June 2019 from Benedictine University. Throughout her graduate career Lamese interned and worked at private practices, hospitals, and schools. During Lamese’s undergraduate experience, she performed her own research on attachment as it relates to generosity levels in college students. Currently, Lamese is working towards her doctoral dissertation subject religiosity and spirituality as it relates to resilience.
Lamese is interested in and has experience working with young adult and adult population, working very closely together to create a meaningful therapeutic relationship. Lamese approaches therapy and conceptualizes through a cognitive behavioral perspective. Lamese looks forward to furthering her experience in college counseling and is eager to provide students with a safe environment that promotes overcoming emotional and mental challenges as they take on this developmental stage and search for meaning and purpose.
