Research Overview
Dr. Brunt’s research focuses on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL) with specific emphasis on teaching efficacy and student outcomes. Her current research assesses the impact that bringing psychology graduates working in the field back to speak with current students has on current student interest in pursuing careers in psychology. She has presented her research at MPA in Chicago, IL.
I love teaching at PNW and enjoy mentoring our diverse and hard-working students. It is my goal to create a positive, safe, and supportive environment in which all students feel welcome and valued. Many of my classroom activities are meant to encourage teamwork, problem-solving, and self-reflection in fun and creative ways.
