Introduction

Heather started working at PNW in 2024 and currently advises the School of Education in the College of Humanities, Education, and Social Science. She loves advising because, as the education advisor, her role is to help students prepare for anything – not merely help students prepare for something.

It’s a full-circle experience for me! I want to give back to the department what those before me had given me. I’m grateful for the experience I was given as a student, and I hope to give the same to the next wave of educators. Once a teacher, always a teacher!

Fun Fact

Heather graduated from Purdue North Central in 2004 as an Education student, taught for 20 years, and then came back to the School of Education as the academic advisor!
