How Long Have You Been in Healthcare

I have dedicated the past 10 years working in the mental health and health coaching field with broad experiences working directly with patients, in research and education to increase knowledge and use of practical tools for individuals to feel empowered to take action in their health journeys. Professional interests include short-term, solution-focused coaching, stress management and holistic approaches to health management

Philosophy of Care

To build positive and collaborative relationships with patients. To focus on patient strengths to overcome personal barriers to health and wellness and leading with integrity, open-mindedness and encouragement to increase individuals’ capacity for growth and change. Utilizing evidence-based education and strategies with a holistic approach to provide concrete support and foster opportunity to build new skills to promote self-sufficiency and resiliency.

What do you like to do when you’re not at the CHL?

I enjoy a slower pace, spending time with loved ones, my pets and being outside. I enjoy gardening, painting, cooking and baking, and home decorating.

Fun Fact

Christmas is my favorite holiday, and I love spending the season cooking, baking, decorating, wrapping presents while binge watching my favorite holiday movies like Home Alone, A Christmas Story and Elf!
