Drue Denmon teaches composition and creative writing.

Research Overview

Drue’s writing and research involves dissecting family archives, unpacking and understanding creative processes for students and taking responsibility (to paraphrase Toni Morrison) for all the values brought to art.

Teaching Focus

Drue’s teaching focuses on the importance of constructing narratives, collaboration and community engagement. She believes in the importance of making each student’s unique voice heard.
