Physician Assistant, Center for Healthy Living at Purdue University Northwest

Daniel W Balcerak

It is extremely important to me that patients feel comfortable, feel heard and have their questions, concerns and diagnoses properly managed and solved.

How Long Have You Been in Healthcare?

Before joining the Center for Healthy Living at Purdue University Northwest in 2022, I worked as a PA for the past 10 years at a large multi-specialty private practice in northwest Indiana. I previously worked as a pharmacy technician while pursuing my degree at Butler University’s PA Program.

Philosophy of Care

I am a hard-working, empathetic perfectionist who strives to provide meaningful, high-quality care to all patients. I wholeheartedly believe in promoting a trustworthy, loyal and compassionate relationship with the patients under my care as well as co-workers, in order to cultivate an environment that allows for proper treatment and healing.

It is extremely important to me to ensure that patients and their families feel comfortable, feel heard, and have their questions, concerns, and diagnoses properly managed and solved.

What Do You Like to Do When You’re Not at the CHL?

I believe that having a good quality of life outside of work is critical! Family is of huge importance to me, as well as having a strong base of friends for support and to rely on.

I enjoy exercising on a consistent basis, for physical health and mental well-being. I am a music lover, a huge foodie and a coffee connoisseur! I am a sports fanatic too and enjoy cheering on all of my teams!
