Introduction

German language instructor in the Basic Language Program as well as upper level courses. Special interest in developing new upper level courses: German fairy tales, Business German, German Composition.

I come from Poland but went to school and graduated from high school in Germany. I try to visit Germany (especially Berlin) at least once a year- in connection to a professional development. I always say that Berlin is my third home- after Poland and Chicago, where I live with my husband and two kids. We are a multilingual family.

Teaching Focus

Communicative teaching methodology- creating a student-friendly environment for practicing conversational German. Following the newest and most up-to-date materials for effective language learning.

Founder and advisor of the PNW German Club. German lecturer at the University of Chicago. German instructor at DANK Haus Chicago, a German-American organization.
