    It is with deep sadness that we share the following information. Yueqi Zhang, a professor in visual communication design at Purdue University Northwest since 2009, died on Tuesday, September 7. He was 58 years old.

    PNW will celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month by hosting a variety of cultural and academic events. Observed annually in the U.S. between September 15 and October 15, the events will examine the history, culture and contributions of the Hispanic and Latinx communities.

    PNW adds Women’s and Men’s Track and Field

    Purdue University Northwest is proud to announce the addition of women’s and men’s track and field programs. PNW Track and Field will compete in both indoor and outdoor seasons and will officially launch in the 2022-23 academic year. The latest sport additions elevate PNW’s sport offering to 17 NCAA Division II teams.

    Purdue University Northwest Engineering Students Design Barrier System for Michigan City Pier

    A group of Purdue University Northwest (PNW) engineering students spent their senior year putting their knowledge and skills to the test in the real world. The students, members of the Senior Engineering Design I and II classes, designed a barrier system for the Michigan City pier that is expected to be constructed later this year.
