New PNW Events Management Department
Dear PNW Community,
I am pleased to announce the former Office of Strategic Events has been restructured, reoriented, and renamed the Department of Events Management.
Effective immediately, the expanded role of Events Management will include responsibility for three key areas: university events, dining and catering services on the Westville campus, and promoting private/for-profit use of underutilized facilities throughout PNW.
Events Management is a designated auxiliary unit that will be financially self-supporting via entrepreneurial activities. Ashley Gerodimos will serve as Executive Director and report to me in her new role. With over 20 years of experience in hospitality sales, events and banquet management, and direct customer service, Ashley is uniquely qualified to lead this effort. I am excited to work with her and the Events Management team on this “start-up”.
