New Leadership in PNW Counseling Center
Dear PNW campus community,
I am very pleased to announce that Dr. Amber Mosley has been named Interim Executive Director of the PNW Counseling Center. Dr. Mosley joined PNW in September of 2022, and has already established herself as a dynamic and collaborative leader at PNW.
Among many other initiatives, she partnered with EMSA and Academic Affairs to bring Mental Health First Aid certification training to PNW in the coming year, ensuring that staff and faculty have the appropriate training to respond appropriately when students present with mental health concerns.
Dr. Mosley earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. She also holds an M.A in Counseling Psychology and a B.A. in Psychology with minors in Spanish and Gender and Women’s Studies from Western Michigan University. She has specialized course concentration in marriage and family therapy, holistic health, mindfulness meditation, comorbid disorders, diversity, healing art and clinical supervision.
As a reminder, the PNW Counseling Center provides free, confidential mental health services to PNW students. Students can call (219) 989-2366 for an appointment.
Congratulations to Dr. Mosley! We are looking forward to a new chapter for the Counseling Center at PNW!
Sincerely,
Colin D. Fewer, Ph.D.
