New Front Automated Gate Kiosk at Gabis Arboretum
A new automated gate at Gabis Arboretum is installed and ready for use. Upon entry, non-members will pay the $10 carload admission fee via credit card, and members will scan their new membership card. Current members have been mailed a new membership card.
NOTE: No cash will be accepted for admission. Credit only. Memberships cannot be purchased or renewed at the kiosk.

FAQs for Members
Members
Each member has been mailed a new card with a printed QR code. Your old membership card can be discarded- it will not work on this new kiosk system. If you did not receive the new membership card, please email us at gabisarboretum@pnw.edu before your next visit.
Instructions for Use
Upon arrival, scan the QR code located on your membership card with the kiosk scanner located at the bottom left of the kiosk. Hold your membership card within a few inches of the scanner and centered on the QR code. You can also take a clear photo of your QR code with your phone and hold your phone up to the scanner. Once the card has been scanned, the gate will open and you can drive through. No ticket or receipt will come out of the kiosk.
The kiosk has an intercom in which you can call a Gabis employee to verify your membership information and they can open the gate remotely. We will do our best to respond to the intercom during all open hours.
We recommend taking a photo of your membership card with your phone. You can then scan the photo of the QR code at the kiosk.
Renewal notifications are sent via email. If you aren’t receiving renewal notifications, please let us know and we will confirm your email address. Note that you cannot renew your membership at the kiosk so please renew in advance.

FAQs for Non-Members
Guests pull up to the payment kiosk, insert their credit card to pay the $10 carload fee, and the gate will open allowing entry. Cash will not be accepted. The system does not permit in-and-out privileges.
Arboretum memberships cannot be purchased at the kiosk but should be purchased online before arrival.
Please allow 7-10 business days to receive your membership card.
If the program or event description indicates that arboretum admission is included with registration, a QR code will be emailed to you upon registering. You will then scan the QR code at the kiosk to gain entry.
If the description does not indicate that arboretum admission is included with registration, you will pay the $10 admission fee via credit card at the kiosk upon arrival.
Option 1 (preferred)
Contact the arboretum in advance for an emailed QR code. The QR code can be scanned at the kiosk and entry will be granted.
Option 2
Use the intercom on the kiosk to contact a member of the arboretum staff to verify your information and open the gate for you. We will do our best to respond to the intercom during all open hours.
