Purdue University Northwest to honor 976 candidates at spring commencement
Purdue University Northwest (PNW) will host its spring commencement exercises outdoors on Saturday, May 14 at the Hammond campus. A total of 976 candidates, representing PNW’s five colleges, are eligible to receive degrees during commencement. This number includes 856 earning baccalaureate degrees and 120 earning master’s degrees.

All in the heart: Meet 2022 PNW graduate Andrew Morris
Morris, of Valparaiso, will start work as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse before commencement at Franciscan Health Michigan City. He also completed one of his clinical rotations at the same hospital.

Purdue Northwest Roars Ahead with Generous Support on PNW Day of Giving
Purdue University Northwest (PNW) raised nearly $900,000 from more than 1,240 donations in 24 hours during its annual Day of Giving on April 27. Donors’ gifts to PNW are used to support student scholarships, academic programs, Pride athletics, student organizations and other strategic initiatives.

New picnic tables popping up at Hammond campus, courtesy of PNW Construction Club
A stroll outdoors on the Hammond campus grounds will reveal some new picnic tables installed around the open green spaces. They’re evident in their light brown color, which will “weatherize” or break-in the tables like their darker brown counterparts.
