The 68th season of the Purdue University Northwest (PNW) Sinai Forum offers its Feb. 6 program with tech icon Steve “The Woz” Wozniak. Wozniak’s presentation, sponsored by Urschel Laboratories, Inc., takes place at Blue Chip Casino, Hotel and Spa’s Stardust Event Center, 777 Blue Chip Dr. in Michigan City, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. CST.

Purdue University Northwest student places in top 2 percent in international sales competition
Purdue University Northwest (PNW) student Brittany Barnard placed in the top 2 percent worldwide in the RNMKRS Virtual Sales Role-Play Competition. The Kokomo native was one of several PNW students who took part in the virtual competition that included students from across the United States and Europe.

PNW graduates should be willing to take risks and seek solutions as they begin their careers, keynote speaker Tom Dermody, mayor of the City of La Porte, advised as the university awarded 995 degrees during two commencement ceremonies at Purdue Northwest's Westville campus.

Purdue University Northwest to offer Doctor of Technology degree
PNW has gained approval from the Purdue University Board of Trustees to offer a Doctor of Technology degree. Pending approval by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education and the Higher Learning Commission. The program will be the second doctoral degree offered by PNW, joining the Doctorate of Nursing Practice.

PNW Hockey Approved to join ACHA Division 1
The American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), recently announced Purdue University Northwest has been approved for the ACHA Division 1 level starting in the 2022-23 season. The current PNW Division 2 program will transition to Division 1, while the Pride will continue to field a Division 3 team.

Purdue University Northwest Fall Class of 2021 to be Honored at Two Commencement Ceremonies
PNW will host its fall commencement ceremonies in-person, with appropriate health and safety protocols, on Saturday, December 11, at its Westville campus.
