PNW offers COVID-19 Tuition Relief Scholarship

Dear Purdue University Northwest Students:

The extraordinary situation with COVID-19 requires all the strengths you have shown to get to this point in your college career at PNW – determination, resilience, and excellence. All of us at PNW are here to support you as you navigate the challenges you face. We recognize this time of uncertainty creates stress, and some of that anxiety may be related to new financial pressures.

To assist you in the pursuit of your goals, I am pleased to announce a special scholarship fund has been established to help current PNW students complete their education. The PNW COVID-19 Tuition Relief Scholarship is a need-based award of up to $500 toward tuition and fees.

You can apply now for this scholarship for Spring and Summer 2020. Priority is given for Spring 2020. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, with a priority deadline of April 30.

As the situation evolves, further opportunities to apply may be made available for Fall 2020 and Spring 2021. Your application must include a description (in 100 words or less) of how you have been impacted financially by COVID-19. Full details about the scholarship criteria and process for selection can be found on the website.

It is our sincere hope that this fund will assist many students and families who are facing additional challenges caused by the global pandemic. Thank you for your patience and your persistence during these unusual times. Keep your eyes on the future as we power onward together.
