RE:  Make your voice heard – Statewide Free Speech Survey kicks off next week

The Indiana Commission for Higher Education (ICHE) wants to gather the views of undergraduate students for a study looking at the climate for free speech on all campuses across the state.

As directed by state statute, ICHE is working with Gallup to conduct this survey on behalf of Purdue University Northwest—and all colleges and universities in Indiana—to learn more about the student experience at each respective school.

Starting April 5, survey communications will begin arriving from the email address noreply@qemailserver.com under the delivery name “Gallup.” Technical support questions regarding the survey may be sent to educationhelp@gallupmail.com. General questions about the survey may be directed to dos@pnw.edu. The survey will remain open through the end of April.

Your participation in this effort is important, but completely optional. There are no consequences if you choose not to take part. For those who do choose to complete the survey, your responses will be kept confidential and will be reported in the aggregate when shared with Purdue Northwest and the Indiana Commission for Higher Education. Your responses will never be shared in a way that could identify you, and your personal information will be kept private by Gallup.

I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to make your views about free speech on the Purdue Northwest campus known.
