Jan Hanchar, Associate Vice Chancellor of Human Resources
I am pleased to announce Jan Hanchar will serve as our next Associate Vice Chancellor of Human Resources, effective July 1, 2025.
Since joining the Human Resources Department in 1996, Jan worked in several key positions, including HR generalist, employment & data specialist, payroll administrator, and department manager. She currently serves as the Director of Human Resources and is responsible for shaping HR strategies and ensuring efficient operations. Throughout her years of service, Jan continually focused on providing quality service and delivering it in a compassionate manner.
Jan earned a bachelor’s degree from the Krannert School of Management in West Lafayette with a concentration on Strategic Management, Finance and Employment Law and worked as an accountant before joining PNW.
With her extensive experience and proven leadership, Jan is exceptionally well prepared to guide the PNW Human Resources team into the future. Please join me in congratulating Jan on this well-earned promotion.
