Arrival to Campus and Airport Pick-Up
PNW will be offering free airport pick-up service for new international students to Purdue Northwest from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) on Wednesday, January 8, and Thursday, January 9.
In order to request complimentary airport pick up January 8 or 9, you must complete the following form before January 3.
PNW will not offer a pick-up service outside of these dates.
If you will not arrive during these dates, PNW cannot offer a free pick-up service. However, many community members reported a positive experience with the transportation services listed below.

Mandatory Check-In and New International Student Orientation
New International Student Orientation: January 10
Once you arrive in the US, one of the first things you do is log in to your MyISS account and complete the mandatory check-in for international students in the vMISCI section. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Immigration Services in Lawshe Hall 226.
Please bring the following:
- Your passport, with the appropriate student/scholar visa
- Your Certificate of Eligibility (I-20 or DS-2019)
- Any other immigration-related documents that you have obtained, such as from the Customs and Border Patrol Agents or any previous schools you may have attended

Health Insurance
All international undergraduate and graduate students who are registered, regardless of credit hours, or in an approved professional certificate program must enroll in the mandatory university health insurance plan unless they meet the criteria for a waiver.
