The White Lodging School of Hospitality and Tourism Management is excited to announce the integration of a state-of-the-art service delivery robot, BellaBot, into its curriculum.

This innovative technology will be integrated into various courses, offering students unique hands-on learning opportunities. With the hospitality industry facing significant employee shortages, introducing BellaBot will equip students with cutting-edge skills to navigate this evolving landscape.

Students in the HTM 291 Quantity Food Production and Service course have the unique opportunity to operate BellaBot, analyze its movement and understand its limitations. This interaction will inspire them to brainstorm new service styles and experiment with how service robots can transform the hospitality industry.

This initiative is a testament to the school’s unwavering commitment to preparing students for the future of hospitality by blending technology, innovation and hands-on experience, encouraging a sense of reassurance and confidence.

We're excited for students to be able to explore how service providers collaborate with robots in real-world hospitality settings.
