A Positive and Powerful Influence
Coach Friend’s long and successful career as a football coach, basketball coach, athletic director at Hammond High School, Munster High School and then finally at Purdue Northwest transformed the lives of so many. In 2017, PNW recognized his impact by renaming the Hammond campus’ basketball court “John Friend Court” in his honor.
