Spring Ephemeral Wildflower Hike
May 11 @ 10:00 am - 11:15 am
Come join the naturalist and identify all the spring wildflowers we can find.
Ephemeral means lasting for a very short time, usually in reference to beauty. Ephemeral in this context is used to describe the short period of time in which woodland spring wildflowers bloom. We will be looking for trillium, bloodroot, twin leaf, false rue anemone, wild ginger and many others.
The program is limited to 25 participants. Program participation is free but non-members are subject to the $10 carload admission fee. The group will meet in the first parking lot.
