Whereas, the adopted 2020 PNW budget adversely affected academics programs and teaching positions;

Whereas, additional budget shortfalls of $2 million for 2020-2021 present a need for further adjustments which could adversely affect academic programs and teaching positions;

Whereas, the Faculty Senate Budget Committee representing the interests of faculty will be engaged in deliberations concerning 2020-2021 budget adjustments with PNW administrators;

Whereas, the sentiments of PNW faculty concerning budget priorities and choices have not been determined, but are urgently important for Budget Committee deliberations and proposals;

Therefore, be it resolved that the Faculty Senate conduct a Qualtrics survey of faculty member evaluations of preferred budget priorities and choices.
