NIPSCO Scheduled Power Outage (Hammond Campus)
There will be a scheduled power outage this Sunday, Aug. 11, at NIPSCO’s request for switch maintenance. The outage is expected to last approximately 10 hours and will begin at 7 a.m.
Late Night Hours at The Arboretum
Join us for an after-hours experience at Gabis Arboretum! The public is welcome to come after sunset on August 11 to view the Perseid Meteor Shower and stay to meet astrophotographer Bill Suriano from midnight to 3 a.m.

Come see the annual Perseid meteor shower during this late-night viewing party. Astrophotographer Bill Suriano will provide insight into why the meteor shower is an annual occurrence.
