World Water Day and Third Annual Sustainability at PNW Showcase

The annual Sustainability at PNW event is a showcase of faculty work on environmental and social topics with a focus on water this year in concert with World Water Day.
First, join students and staff in making origami hummingbirds in solidarity with global World Water Day activities. Then, join our PNW faculty and learn about their work on sustainability. Each discussion will be 30 minutes, with a different topic beginning every 30 minutes.

SULB Concourse and SULB 321
World Water Day Activity
10:30 am to 2:00 pm on the SULB Concourse
Make an origami hummingbird and learn the ancient story of the hummingbird.
Faculty Showcase
Noon to 2 pm in SULB 321
Learn about some critical water issues and solutions from faculty members including:
- Dr. Veera Gnaneswar Gude, Director of the PNW Water Institute
- Dr. Kathryn Rowberg, Associate Professor of Chemistry
- Dr. Matthew Bauman, Assistant Professor of Hospitality and Tourism Management
