The Roundtable Perspective: The Water Belt Region

Rachel Havrelock, Ph.D., a professor of English at the University of Illinois at Chicago and director of The Freshwater Lab, joins host Lee Artz, Ph.D. to discuss the how freshwater in the region, including that of the Great Lakes is used to our benefit but also how it is often misused and the resources misappropriated and why this area could become the “Water belt”.
Episodes air Friday at 8:30 pm and replay Sunday at 10 a.m. each week.
