The Roundtable Perspective: Simply Sartre

David Detmer, Ph.D., professor of philosophy at Purdue University Northwest joins host Thomas J. Roach, Ph.D. on Lakeshore PBS to discuss the life of Jean-Paul Sartre, the famed French philosopher, playwright, novelist and political activist. Detmer’s new book, “Simply Sartre” takes a look at some of the most controversial beliefs of Sartre and critically examines them.

Episodes air Friday at 8:30 pm and replay Sunday at 10 am each week.
