
Taking Control of My Diabetes – Healthy Boiler Program

Do you have type 2 diabetes or prediabetes? Do you want to better understand type 2 diabetes and how it affects your body?
This 14-week program will explain what type 2 diabetes is and the role nutrition, exercise, sleep, medication and stress management can have on your blood glucose levels. Participants in this program will be eligible to receive a free glucose meter and supplies.*
*Individuals living with type 1 diabetes are able to meet monthly with a CHL health coach but are not required to participate in the eight-week “Taking Control of My Diabetes” program to take advantage of the test strips and blood sugar meter opportunity.

Healthy Boiler programs are free to all benefits-eligible faculty and staff and dependents covered on a Purdue medical plan. All programs can be registered via the Healthy Boiler portal unless otherwise specified. All registrations are due before the start of the program and the deadline listed in the description.
