Study Away and Passport Fair

The Study Away and Passport Fair is the perfect opportunity for you to explore various study away programs, learn about scholarship opportunities, get your passport ready and connect with faculty leaders of PNW. Whether you’re already considering studying abroad or just curious about the possibilities, this fair is a valuable resource to help you make an informed decision.
Here’s what you can expect at the fair:
- Information Booths: Faculty leaders from PNW study away programs will be available to answer your questions and provide program details.
- Scholarship Information: Learn about the various scholarships and financial aid options available to help fund your international education.
- Student Stories: Hear firsthand accounts from students who have previously studied abroad, gaining insights into their experiences and adventures.
To ensure you make the most of your visit, we recommend coming prepared with questions and a list of the countries or programs that interest you.
If you can’t make it to the fair or have scheduling conflicts, please reach out to our study away office (studyaway@pnw.edu) to set up an individual appointment.

Documents Needed for Passport Fair
- First-time applicants must complete Form DS-11.
- Renewal applicants must complete Form DS-82.
Please go to travel.state.gov and print your forms prior to the fair.
Evidence of Citizenship
You must submit ONE of the following:
- Fully-valid, undamaged U.S. Passport (may be expired)
- U.S. Birth Certificate
- Consular Report of Birth Abroad or Certification of Birth
- Certification of Naturalization
- Certificate of Citizenship
Note: Your evidence must be an original or certified copy, photo copies or notarized copies are not acceptable. Your original documents are submitted with your application, but they will be returned to you.
Photo ID
You must present ONE of the following identification documents (IDs) to the Acceptance Agent. The ID must readily identify you.
- Fully-valid, undamaged U.S. Passport (may be expired)
- Fully-valid, U.S. Drivers License
- Certificate of Naturalization or Citizenship
- U.S. Government Employee ID (City, Country, State or Federal)
- U.S. Military ID or Military Dependent ID
- Valid Foreign Passport
- Matricula Consular (Mexican Consular Identification, Commonly used by the parent of a U.S. citizen child applicant)
Passport Photo
Passport photos can be taken at the fair for an additional cost of $15 (cash or check).
Payments
- $130 – Check or Money Order for the Application Fee payable to the U.S. Department of State.
- $35 – Execution Fee payable to USPS.
- $60 – If you want to have expedited processing.
Note: You must have a check or money order when you arrive. Cash will not be accepted.
