State Science Olympiad Tournament

Purdue Northwest University is happy to host the 2023 State Science Olympiad! This event brings the top middle and high school Science Olympiad teams from across Indiana to our campus to compete in a series of STEM events.

These students will demonstrate their knowledge of forestry, meteorology, forensics, and chemistry. They will also be displaying and demonstrating devices they have been working on including small airplanes, cars, and robots. The competition begins at 8 a.m. and concludes at 3 p.m. The day ends with the award ceremony at 5:30 p.m.

The top middle and high school teams will then advance to the National Science Olympiad Tournament hosted by Wichita State University located in Wichita, Kansas.

All students, staff, and faculty who are interested in volunteering can sign up below. After signing up you will receive a Qualtrics survey to indicate your availability.
