Servant Leadership: Walking the Walk with Angela Nelson Deuitch
October 11, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Walking the Walk Before Talking the Talk
Servant Leadership places great emphasis on walking the walk before talking the talk. While traditional leadership generally involves the accumulation and exercise of power by one at the “top of the pyramid,” servant leadership is different. A servant-leader focuses primarily on the growth and well-being of people and the communities to which they belong.
In this month’s Lunch and Lead, we sit down for an exclusive fireside chat with Angela Nelson Deuitch. Ms. Deuitch is president of Diversity Squared, providing unconscious bias training, cultural intelligence, diversity training, strategic planning and non-profit organization, crisis communication and public affairs and outreach. She also serves as president of the Michigan City City Council.
Presented by the Leadership Institute and Society of Innovators at PNW, Lunch and Lead is a free virtual speaker series designed to help community and business leaders develop knowledge and skills while raising awareness of best practices from other leaders across Northwest Indiana and beyond.
