Save Lives, Say Yes

During National Donate Life Month, join communities across America to honor the generosity of organ and tissue donors and their families, and to bring attention to the life-giving gift of organ, eye and tissue donation.

Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network and hundreds of other advocates throughout Illinois and northwest Indiana are raising awareness about organ, eye and tissue donation. They’ve partnered with countless hospitals, coroners, funeral directors and many more to honor donors and their families while encouraging everyone to “Say Yes!” to donation.

Local events will celebrate organ and tissue donors and educate others about the need for donor registrations. Many communities will also “Light It Up Purple” in public display of support for organ and tissue donation.
