
Nomination Deadline: Research Board At-Large Faculty Positions
April 3, 2025
The PNW Research Board is seeking nominations for the following at-large positions, with terms spanning Fall 2025 – Spring 2028:
- At-Large Tenured Faculty (1 position)
- At-Large Untenured/Tenure-Track Faculty (2 positions)
The Research Board plays a vital role in advancing faculty and student research while serving as an independent advisory body to the Provost on scholarly activities. Board members are expected to actively participate in monthly meetings, held on the first Friday of each month from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM during the academic year. Given the responsibilities associated with this role, nominees should be prepared to fully engage in the Board’s work, as outlined in the Board’s Charter.
Eligible nominees should be actively engaged in scholarly research within their discipline, including grant writing where applicable. Self-nominations are encouraged. If nominating a colleague, please ensure they have agreed to be considered.
To submit a nomination, please complete the Nominations Form and upload the following:
- A current CV highlighting relevant scholarly accomplishments.
- A brief statement (200 words or less) outlining your interest in the position.
The deadline for submissions is Thursday, April 3, 2025.
Following the collection of nominations, we will distribute a voting link, and all faculty will be invited to participate in the Research Board At-Large Faculty Representative Election.
