Memorial Event for Catherine Murphy

As many of you know, Catherine Murphy passed away on January 14, 2025. She dedicated 56 years to Purdue University Calumet/Northwest. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the Department of Computer Sciences is planning a memorial event on March 28, 2025 in Alumni Hall.

Over the years, Cathy was assigned to hundreds of committees throughout her tenure at PNW. She was one of the few people that was able to work with anybody. She was also well liked by those who worked with her.

We are collecting remembrances and encourage everyone who worked with Cathy to submit a few words that will be shared with her family.
