Lunch and Lead: A Virtual “Food for Thought” Series
November 10, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Are you curious about making accountability a core part of your work culture and relationships?
In the next Lunch and Lead Session, we will explore strategies for gaining the trust of others and fostering accountability through kindness and authenticity, featuring special guest Ebony Campbell, Senior Director of Resident Services, Chicago Housing Authority (CHA).
About Ebony Campbell
As Senior Director of Resident Services, Ebony oversees a portfolio of partnerships and investments across the Chicago Housing Authority’s (CHA) youth, education, and economic independence impact areas. She joined CHA in 2012 and her work includes developing strategic direction and facilitating solutions that build resilience, increase earning power and support the academic achievement of families experiencing poverty in historically marginalized and under-invested communities. Prior to joining CHA, she spent six years at the Department of Family & Support Services advancing the Mayor’s mission to create early work experiences and pathways to economic and social mobility for the city of Chicago’s youngest residents. Earlier in her career, she worked directly with students in schools and within informal education settings, to help them navigate the transition to and persist through their postsecondary education. She holds a Master’s degree in Communications, with a focus on managing complexity and collaborative leadership, from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in English literature and Italian language from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
The Lunch and Lead Series is presented by the Leadership Institute and Society of Innovators at Purdue Northwest.
